It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Holcomb. She has been the principal team member of Advantage Administration that has handled the transition between administrators for Harvard Eye Associates.

One of Ms. Holcomb’s many strengths lies in her accurate and thorough knowledge of the operations aspect of an ophthalmic practice. She clearly understands problems and she utilizes her experience in solving them expeditiously. Her judgment in dealing with personnel and operational issues is amazing! She maintains a terrific attitude, which spills over to the staff working with her.

She also displays strength in leadership aspects. She is confident, aware of deadlines, and able to train subordinates well. Her ability to motivate staff and her fairness in dealing with each individual staff member has made her well respected by all those working under her.

Harvard Eye has functioned well during this difficult transition period as a result of Ms. Holcomb’s help. There were many problems to tackle in all aspects of the practice: adding/removing personnel and reorganization of the staff duties, IT, internal marketing, potential practice merger, new on- demand surgical counseling, phones, and physical space remodel just to name a few. She has multi-tasked in all these areas well showing ability to organize the work load and delegating authority when needed.

Ms. Holcomb has been a delight to work with. She will continue to be an asset to Advantage Administration with her excellent knowledge, work ethic and leadership skills. Thanks for allowing us to be able to work with her!!
